Writer Steps:
  • Strings words together in some fashion
  • Write/Type/Speak/Record them somewhere
  • Yay!

Making it up.
yes, really

Jasmine writes about life and love and cats and feelings. Occasionally combining those bits into a collection that some might call a book.

Jasmine

Hello, I'm Jasmine

Things people want to know I guess.

Writing about myself is tough. In fact, this is probably supposed to be in third person, but written by the first person. I digress. Jasmine lives in New York with her cats. She just starts writing and whatever ends on the paper (or screen) is the work. Some tampering after the fact is necessary. Sometimes, what's been expressed stays what was expressed. She found a love for the written word early on at her local library's manuscript book club. Aging oneself terribly...while she could have read the first Harry Potter before it was published, she didn't. She also joined the poetry club. This largely framed what writing creatively in short form might look like.

My work has appeared in my dad's camera roll, on somebody's refrigerator, behind a random shelf, and within the family group chat, among others.

🌿 Currently: thinking about writing something.

Longer bits ✏️

"I like The Stinky Cheese Man because of the hilarious way the author tells the stories. When my teacher got it I made sure I was the first one to read it because I liked it so much."

— Jasmine Williamson, as quoted, circa 2001
