Stage & Screen
"The best acting is being."
Jasmine Reneé Williamson is a New York City-based actress and mezzo-soprano whose work spans musical theatre, classical drama, and new works. With a rich voice, she brings both technical precision and deep emotional specificity to every role she takes on.
Jasmine trains at The Barrow Group and hones her movement and dance at well-know NYC dance studios. Her vocal studies have included a non-degree seeking vocal performance program and private lessons, and she holds a Theatre Arts minor from the University of Arizona. A second runner-up in the William Harrelson Vocal Competition, she has performed at venues across New York City and beyond — from The Lambs and Producer's Club to Hale Center Theatre (AZ) and Yorktown Stages. Notable stage credits include Hairspray, The Little Mermaid, Mamma Mia, Jacob's Room: A New Musical, and Harold Pinter's Ashes to Ashes, among many others.
Off stage, Jasmine is an enthusiastic home cook, a devoted caretaker to her cats, and a firm believer in the restorative power of a good gong sound bath.
